Go straight to the words

If you haven’t been in before

Before you book anything, let me tell you what this actually is.

Most people who find their way here have already tried a few things. Sometimes they helped for a week. Sometimes they didn’t help at all, and nobody could really say why.

So rather than hand you a list of services, I’d rather tell you what happens in this room, and let you decide from there.

A quiet treatment room with a folded blanket and soft morning light

Nothing here is done to you. It’s done with you, at your pace.

Why this may feel different

We start by listening to what your body has been trying to say.

A lot of hands-on care begins with the sorest spot. I’ve noticed that the sore spot is often the place doing the most work to protect somewhere else — so we look at the whole pattern before we decide where to put my hands.

That means the first visit is slower than you may be expecting. There’s conversation. There’s watching how you move and where you brace without meaning to. And there’s a fair amount of me saying, “tell me more about that.”

Maybe that sounds like exactly what you’ve been missing. Maybe it sounds like more talking than you want. Both are fine, and you get to decide.

You’ll never be asked to prove how much it hurts.

The two ways we work together in person

Two kinds of visits, and neither is a package

Connective Tissue Restoration

Slow, hands-on work with the tissue that wraps and connects everything else. It isn’t about forcing anything loose. It’s about giving a place that has been holding on for a long time a reason to feel safe enough to let go a little.

The Peacefully Stronger Healing Experience

A longer, quieter visit shaped around what your body seems to be asking for that day. Some of it is hands-on. Some of it is simply letting your body settle first, because a nervous system that is still bracing doesn’t receive much of anything.

What the hands-on work may include

  • Myofascial release
  • Massage
  • Cupping
  • Gua sha
  • Assisted stretching

A Healing Experience may also include red-light therapy or time on the Biomat — not as treatments in their own right, but to help a busy body settle before any hands-on work begins.

Nothing is decided in advance, and nothing happens without your say. If something doesn’t feel right for you, we simply don’t do it.

Every body arrives with its own history. Yours sets the pace.

So you know where the edges are

This is wellness and bodywork care. It isn’t medical care, and it isn’t a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a replacement for the people looking after your health. Please keep your doctor in the conversation, especially if something is new, sudden, or getting worse.

If you think this might be for you

The next step is simply reaching out.

I read every note myself, and I’ll answer honestly about whether I have room for new hands-on clients right now. Asking isn’t committing — it just starts the conversation. In-person sessions are by appointment only.

Rather read a while first? The Conversation Library is open, and always will be.
